Nature is the best place to find inspiration.  I painted this diptych directly after a beautiful holiday in The Netherlands, where I loved to go on long hiking tours through the nearly untouched nature parks near the Sea. The wild plants and flowers peeking through the sandy underground really caught my eyes and I wanted to render the power of nature in this artwork, which always finds a way to grow and flourish.

The shades of fresh green combined with the energetic brush strokes and tiny details invite to go for a 'walk with the eyes' and feel the joyful vibes and power this diptych radiates.

It's painted on raw linen, which peeks through the acrylic colours and adds exciting details to this artwork.
